Naturally, you're wondering why I am and why I'm ideal to educate, inspire and guide you so you can Write a Book Before You Die.
I'm Connie Bennett, and I'm author the bestselling book Sugar Shock! (Berkley Books).
While, thankfully, my first book has received kudos from big names (such as Dr. Mehmet Oz, Dr. Christiane Northrup and film producer Harvey Weinstein), garnered me considerable attention and gotten me on numerous TV and radio shows, the path from conception to publication wasn't nearly as smooth as I would like.
Which is why you now get to benefit from my rocky transition from journalist to author. You see, over the years -- from late 2001-on, I've made many mistakes from while moving from vague idea to an actual physical book product. Then, I committed other faux-pas while promoting my book.
All the while, I've spent thousands of dollars (thanks to my savings), conferring with consultants and attending some 20 to 30 conferences or events for authors, bloggers and speakers. Suffice it to say that my head was the clouds, and it's taken me nearly a decade to get smart about what I call book visioning, book writing and book promoting.
Anyhow, in addition to being an author, journalist, sugar liberation expert, I'm a life coach (certified as an ACC from the International Coach Federation and certified as a CPC from iPEC or the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching). In addition, I'm certified health coach (who trained at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition).
