Dear fellow authors -- published or not-yet published,
I apologize for my lengthy absence delivering new for-authors-only content (although I have been giving you other occasional content).
You see, since I'm an author, as well as a certified health coach and life coach, I needed to walk my talk.
That means for the last one to two years, I needed to focus in on my important professional goals: I was determined to write and edit my next book, Beyond Sugar Shock.
Therefore, despite many great temptations to do otherwise, I've stuck to my deliberate decision -- which is that my book takes priority over all other professional duties. In other words, I've been very focused on bringing my next book out into the world to help as many people as possible -- or, as some of my colleagues put it, I've been hard at work birthing my book.
Unfortunately, since I've been focused on writing, editing and now promoting my book, this means I had to cut back on private coaching (with sugar addicts and authors) and conducting my Sugar Freedom Now Program.
Ironically, since I've been writing my book, I've spent less time writing articles for my Huffington Post Blog, my Psychology Today Blog, and other websites. (That was tough to do!)
But I'm now back! I'm writing articles and blog posts again; I'm coaching sugar addicts and authors, and I have great news!
Thanks to my intense focus on putting words to the page and making many changes (as guided by my editors at Hay House), I can now announce with great pleasure -- and yes, some pride -- that my second book, Beyond Sugar Shock -- which is the follow-up to Sugar Shock! -- will be in bookstores nationwide on June 1.
But you don't have to wait. Fellow authors and sugar addicts, get going, please! Pre-order Beyond Sugar Shock now and even get it before pub date!
By the way, bear in mind that this Write a Book Before You Die is not my main blog -- you can get many new posts on my very active Sugar Shock Blog, where -- since 2005 -- you've been able to get updates on what I'm doing, my thoughts about certain health trends, links to fascinating videos, announcements about guests on my Gab with the Gurus Radio Show, etc.
But this Write a Book Before You Die Blog (or Help for Authors Blog) is more a labor of love. As an author, I know what trendous challenges you face to write a book, which is why -- now that I'm off book deadline myself -- I'm devoted to giving you some juicy information about book writing, leads to helpful book coaches, links to useful articles, etc.
Look soon for helpful guest posts from people, who are doing a lot to guide authors or would-be authors to realize their dreams and make a difference in the world.
Special thanks to A Writer's Journey blog for this awesome artwork. Check out that intriguing blog.
